Looking good Dave. I'm craving a bit of 1-35 scale myself these days.

Tracks finished, and fenders attached.........................
Proceeding apace, when the superstructure is added, I'll spray the upper hull - not that many big bits to add.

Hello Dave,
Phew, caught up again, love the tracks and they will look so realistic under a coat of paint.
Seat reservation made for next episode.
Cheers, Mike.

I've added all the PE ribs on the fenders, and the rear decking has had its doors & bits added. I'm using leftover PE parts from a previous KV, for the rear deck grilles. I simply had to dry fit the superstructure.............
The fit is really good - I was worried that I would end up with large gaps to fill.
So far, the parts have needed minimal clean up, and the fit is very good - I must say that a well-engineered model is a real joy to work on!

Assembly almost finished - just the tools to add, ( and headlamp ) & towing parts
Next, prime the upper hull, nearly complete.

It's a very dark gloomy morning, here in Gloucestershire - just as well that an overall black primer coat doesn't need much thought to apply!
Cornflake packet masks inserted between tracks & fenders.
IF the light improves I'll do a first pass basecoat of green later...................

Basecoat applied - I'll wait overnight before adding some highlights.............
Not looking bad for a basecoat

The basecoat, and highlights finished - next will be detail painting

I have a few decals to add - after all what would a WWII Soviet tank be, without a big patriotic slogan on the side?

That is coming along very well, will stay on the side and keep observing.
Cheers,
Mike.

Hopefully, a minor pause in benchtime. I had a slight accident yesterday, and today, I've a stiff and aching right hand and arm, and a nasty bruise on my back, which is causing me grief when I move. Stupid overbalance, slip and fall. No alcohol involved! - at first I thought I hadn't done anything, but as the day wore on, I got stiffer & stiffer.
Have to hit the Ibuprofen, and have an early night.............................

Really like the subtle highlights and shading, sure the eecals will bring it to life - especially with a nice slogan
