    Hi Steve
Great intro. Looks a good project to raise the old mojo. I like the idea of a tank in Poland. I do wonder if you can stick to a true OOB build

        Evening Steve,
Good to see you building this, it’s one I’d very much like to build myself. I’ve done two of three of the Tristar/Hobbyboss small panzers and enjoyed them all.
        Panzergrau?

Hi Steve - I wonder how long OOB will last. I always end up adding/changing/correcting something.

Tristar moulds have been taken over by Hobbyboss and reissued so you can still find the same kits branded as either firm

I have a few of these kits including the Panzer 1 with 20mm flak mounted on it and four of the separate Flak38's that were all on sale

Your 'engine' above is actually a gearbox and final drive unit :smiling:

Looking at the destructions the engine makes an appearance at section 6......

Hi Steve, nice intro.:thumb2: I should get one of these as I only have the AusfB from Italeri and it doesn't have the full interior as the HobbyBoss kit does.

I didn't think of the difference until I counted the bogey wheels and noticed the position of the mufflers plus the short muzzles of the guns.

:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy: I'll remind you of the OOB the moment you veer off tangent...

            Cheers,
            Richard

              Nice choice Steve
              My favourite baby tankette
The Hobbybiss TriStar cross contamination has been covered.
The Poland 2/3, 1/3 grey brown camo will be fun to AB.
The early Pz II a, you have a photo of isn't available in plastic, just resin.
My last TriStar Pz I A was SCW Breda conversion.
You'll enjoy the OOTB build, it doesn't need anything other than an optivisor and glue. LOL
              Have fun
              Steve H

I wasn’t sure, but I was just about to do a little research to figure out if that was indeed the case — the sprues look Japanese, mainly by the circular bit in the middle, that Tamiya also uses a lot, but Hobby Boss is Chinese. (Scalemates confirms the suspicion, by the way.)

                    Hi Everyone

I have always wanted to do something to do with the Polish campaign Jim. I am fascinated with the Polish tankette's. Hopefully I will get to do one soon
Just avoid all my mistakes JR and I am sure you will be fine:smiling3:
Indeed it will be Panzrgrau Si with a hint of Brown. I wanted to do winter white wash but couldn't justify the historical accuracy
:smiling3::smiling5: Its lucky I am not a mechanic! I suppose it was the gear stick that gave it away!:smiling5::smiling3: It will be entirely an OOB Mr T as it will be going up to Telford in the SK competition.
Glad you have come along Richard. Glad you like it so far:thumb2::thumb2:
Thanks for the vote of confidence on the kit Steve. I am starting to get into these tankette's also:thumb2::thumb2:
                    Where's what JR???
                    Hi Jakko:thumb2:

Weird … you’d expect them to take a grinder to the moulds and just correct that real quick.

                          Hi Everyone

Not as easy, Jakko as shoving it in the box and saying sod it :smiling5::smiling3:
