    Afternoon comrade,

Painting looks to have been fun...it’ll be fine once you do your thing with the oils.
Shame about the exhaust screens, hope you can sort them.

if it’s any consolation one of my tracks decide to fall apart during assembly and then was too tight to get into place without pulling the rear idler out of line and I also had a mare with my decals....think I’ll invest in some good quality decals.

    Keep it coming mate:thumb2:

Now that's how to paint a vehicle. A great masterclass shaping up here Steve.

          Hi Everyone

That's kind of you to say Rick. I can certainly see the light at the end of the tunnel on this build now
After a lot of decal fix Fernando the cross came out okay. Many thanks
The exhaust covers have come out well comrade Benson. However I am not sure how realistic they are. I saw a you tube video and they were painted Panzergrau. Mine are more metal rusty looking.
Glad you like it Peter. More to come this evening
The detail painting was a real pain doing on the tank. However I couldn't see any other way of doing it. All looking good now though Scottie

              Steve,
The detail painting and washes have brought this to a new level very nice indeed.

The cat's whisker if I ever saw one! Really nice homogenous blend of pigments on the mud. Looking forward to the dusting phase.
Cheers and Happy Hols, Rick H.

Just had a great catch up with this build Steve and it is superb. PE can seriously wind you up, I have some pieces on my current build that are less than 2mm long but have 4 bends in them!!! Sometimes the kit part doesn't look so bad :smiling: :smiling2:

                    Nice work Steve

it is all coming together with the oils and pigments.

It is always a trauma trying not to clog up the details with such a small tank

                    Looks like you have succeeded.

Hope you had a good holiday

                    Regards

                    Steve H

                      Steve,
Excellent work, superb attention to detail.
Hope this helps with the track direction...
                      Cheers, Mike.

                        Hi Everyone

Thanks for the words of encouragement Paul. Nearly there now
Dusting all done Rick. Plenty to see below
I totally agree Mick. The problem is nowadays these newer kits don't give you an option and you have to use the PE. Most annoying
I am pleased with how the detail has coped with all the layers Steve. Thanks for the feedback
Cheers Mick. I did read somewhere that the tracks can go either way up. However this seems to be the normal set up with the bolts on the outside.

Very Very impressive Steve, the dust and streaking is fantastic, wish I could do that in my scale as effectively.:smiling:
                              Cheers Mate, Rick H.

Now that's a dirty little panzer, which I like. Still on my to do list, one of those smaller ones. Also very pleased that you didn't make the panzergrau too blue. I wonder where the idea that it was a greish blue comes from, because -as you mentioned in the thread - it was more like a very dark grey color, almost black in tone.
Keep up the good work, hope you can manage adding the broken track.
