    E-50 with 8.8cm KwK 44 L/100 ~PaperPanzer /Trumpeter/1:35

    Hello all !
I am from Poland and this is my first post in this forum.
I am in the process of building an E-50 with a cannon from E-75. Quite an unusual project, because I have not seen such an "idea" anywhere. The model is supposed to be a typical "what if", so I'm a little fancy. I am modeling myself on some historical photos of Panther ausf. G and Tiger I / II.
    Time for photos!

    Greetings !

It will be longer in the next model lol haha

I apologize for the lack of progress, but tomorrow I can do something. The MG rifle was mounted on a motor plate, but it was not a very practical solution. Tomorrow I'm transferring the rifle to the rear wall of the turret.
            Before

            It will be so

I can already see this will be one serious project by one serious modeler
Level of detail so far is top notch:thumb2:

              On board for sure....Jim

                  What is MOB? lol haha

I'm wondering about the camouflage for the E-50. I found some interesting photos on the internet. Do you have any ideas?

The rifle holder on the turret was made.
I need some extra welds at the handle and at the commander's dome.

Looks good so far Krzysztof :thumb2:
                          And that's a d*mn long gun! :smiling5:

I like the camouflage schemes you showed above, I would go for a scheme with some 'red oxide primer' in it, as the Germans had a big shortness of... about everything :smiling5: in the end of the war, so they used less paint for the base-coat and used the red undercoat (primer) as part of the camouflage.

                          Cheers, Steven

Thanks for the help Steven! In red oxide primer I will make drive wheels and some hatches. The sides of the hull and turrets will be in camouflage. The top of the hull will be in one color, maybe green? And the hatches will be as I wrote above.
I mounted the rifle in the turret, it looks terribly little compared to the cannon haha :O

I love this tank and cannon haha It looks funny, but also dangerous ! It will be a PREDATOR :>

At the same time, this is a model representing a tank they might have built, had they had more resources — so an earlier style of camouflage would be just as plausible, IMO.
