          Gave the model a wash in oil medium ( thinners) from Daley Rowney followed by a bit of a scrub!
          Once dried with the hair dryer, another coat of flat varnish. I was going to do some chipping after the paints, but after doing the first coat of black and some rust colours I decided to leave the chipping out .quite pleased with the result, there are no additional oils , just some pigment.

            The white is of course wet glue, once this is dried I shall spray more black on the ground, some grey ash would be good as well .
            Tyres after lunch :tongue-out3::tongue-out3::tongue-out3::tongue-out3:

                  Right back with another up date .Rick stand by :smiling3:
                  Yes the matches have been our, along with my old Victorian Candlestick Holder, c/w a candle .
                  I needed reduce the tread pattern on those tyres, on you can scratch them off, but needed that burnt out look
                  No need for any meths, the rubber soon catches,and you can control the flame by turning the tyres once it's caught fire.

                  As soon as I had done the deed on to the dio they went whilst still pliable.
                  Then came the burnt areas around the car, so loaded with black and also a grey black sprayed the ground and the trees .After that a few minutes applied a few pinches of grey pigment
