Nicely done! If mine turns out half that good I'll be pleased.

Did you use Mike Starmer's SCC15 mix of Vallejo 888 & 924 at 1:1? I ask because I can see both bottles in the background.!

          All the best.

          Andrew

Thanks Andrew! The base coat was Mike's SCC15 mix for Humbrol enamels (150,159 and 33 at 5:5:2), then I gave it a wash of very dark brown followed by a fairly heavy dry-brushing with the Vallejo mix. The Humbrol mix is really quite dark so this gave it a faded look and brought out the detail. Here it is before weathering:

And put together in a wee vignette. Hamburg May '45 - Cromwell and Dingo of 8th Hussars with a couple of Riflemen from 1st Bn The Rifle Brigade.

                  Hi Alex
Bet you're pleased with that. Turned out really well especially at that scale.

Thanks guys. It's a neat little kit which doesn't need a great deal of work to turn into something decent. My only complaint is the somewhat unimaginative decal options - a command vehicle from HQ 11th Armd Div, or an OP vehicle from 5 RHA that was knocked out at Villers Bocage. The only decals I used were the bridge classification disc and the census numbers. The B Sqn tac signs came from the Mk VI Light Tank, the turret star was a leftover from another build, and the combined AOS/Div markings I made myself. Cheers for looking in!

                              Alex,
That is a cracking scene mate very nicely done.
