Pete,
What is it with these Russian tanks, do they go together faster than other kits :smiling4:...
Will sit along and watch.

Hi Mike your always welcome you can keep an eye on comrade John to stop him setting fire to everything. it's another paint and weld seams experiment but in green this time a bit like the Stug I've just finished (before I start you know what wink wink) plus I need something to do while the paint dries on the PT boat.
Pete.

Hi Jim they certainly are there was a problem with the traverse ring it would jam and had great difficulty on a inclines resulting in it only being able to fire when on flat ground.

Nice one Pete, you’ll certainly have some weld lines to make on this monster.

Have fun!

Hi got to the bench for a while today.

Walkround Pic's

Made up the hull, fitted bump stops, cleaned up suspension arms and fitted end caps.

Hull is very flexible so added some reinforcement.

Removed badly moulded bump stop nuts/studs and made some new ones.

Track adjusts before and after added missing adjuster nut.

Assembled all the road wheels, idlers and drive sprockets . As you can see in the first picture the rear half of the road wheel hasn't got the lighting holes in it, so got to work with the drill and added all the missing holes.

Before and after.

Thank you.

Was going to start on the tacks, just one or two injection pin holes to sort out.
So it back in the box for the time being, they need replacing really but no funds at the minute will find something else to do instead.

I have this one in my stash too, so I'll be following your build :thumb2:.

Those tracks need a serious clean up. Your right in wanting to replace them Peter.

All I've got to do now is to drill out all the missing guide horns holes.
C &C's welcomed Pete.
