Lovely work with the pastels. From what I can see the tracks have come out particularly well also. Nearly there now my friend

Steve, Scottie - thanks muchly gents!
The figures were completed, with the addition of a headphone wire on the left hand side of each helmet:
Here they are in place:
Calling this one done now! Here are a few shots of the result:
Thanks to everyone who looked in, left a like, and commented their support, advice and knowledge. It’s good to finish my first “proper” build here on SMF!
Now, what to build next?

Well, if you’re going to take detailling shortcuts like leaving off the spring-loaded clips and the plugs on the headphone cords, you might as well not bother building the model …
But seriously, I like the model a lot — very well-built and finishedComment

Gee, I'm very late to the party Alistair and what a great build.:thumb2: You started when I was concentrating on getting my daughter ready for here semester in Sydney. Needless to say I missed quite a lot and it's been a fine read.
I can see why you like these Israeli tanks, awesome shapes and rugged...looking at their names they even sound like Gundams or Transformers. You sure showed some balls with chains attached there and foiled us with the track masking. The paint work didn't turn out slippery and the figures obviously reminded some of their "kindy" posing and song.
Details, mind boggling and finish superb. Glad you decided on joining here...been missing your builds.
Cheers,

Richard- I could tell you were working your way through the thread from my notifications feed! :smiling: Thank you for taking the time, and writing such a well-thought post of support. I’m glad I joined here too- it’s been great to see so many familiar names, and see some great modelling:thumb2:Comment

Wow Alistair,
Kinda at a loss for words here...….Everything has come together so well and nothing is overdone in any way. Weathering is tight with a good dust coating and the figs are tops in their placing. It's all there and looking mighty fine!!!!
Ummm, if there is a fault to be found, I guess it would be that your balls are dragging on the rear deck. Just some of them though...…….
