Update,
Have done a little bit more to the non slip, seems to be taking forever to mask and then apply. But not much more to do. The worst of the masking is now done.
Mike.

Hi Mike, I'll pull up a chair, British armour is my favourite & I used to work at the factory where they made Challengers.

Update,
I forgot I had these and other photo's. I was sitting at Donnington Services on the M1, when in rolled this crowd, nearly fell out the cab and accosted the 'guard' that was left, bribed him with a Cadbury's mini roll and had my way....

And if you want to depict worn rubber on a Challenger....

So back to my example, the non slip is all finished, and now the construction can start...

This is the Lion Marc Barrel, but the muzzle reference housing on the top is a bit soft so I will be building my own. A new hand grab for the top of the TOGS box has been added as well as the first piece of brass.

And this is the non slip, it will be left for a few days, and then given anotherr brushing to remove and errant 'sand' and hopefully I will have added most of the brass to the hull and turret, so a thin coat of primer to seal it all.
Cheers,
Mike
