          Hi all

So my wife's first ever attempt at using an AB and I have to say once she got over the nerves she displayed very good technique.

Her trigger action in particular was very nice and controlled and soooooooo much better than my ham-fisted efforts when I first picked up and AB.

I think I had better watch out!!

          ACW as usual

          ATB

          Andrew

Thanks John. Although I think the jury is still out when it comes to modelling from her side!

I have heard it said that women have finer motor skills than men, so beware Andy...

                            Hi all

My wife applied the base coat of grey the other day and yet again displayed great trigger control on the AB!! Not that I'm at all jealous she's achieved in two sessions what it's taken me months to do!! :disappointed:

I had to mix the colour myself by using a mid-tone grey and black on the fly as I didn't have any 'official' Panzer Grey. It came out ok but i hadn't clocked that the grey had a slight blue tinge to it and so wasn't exactly what I was after.

                            ACW welcome as usual.

At that scale it would probably be a little too dark. Also if you do a wash it will tone it down considerably. Just a thought.

Thanks Rick, my thoughts exactly. Wish I had been a little more careful in mixing the paint but wife is still happy with it. :anguished:

                                Thanks for stopping by.
