    SU-76M 1/72 UMkit #308

I pulled this from the stash a long time ago then noticed that Si B had just posted a build of the dead same kit so put it back where it came from ,but enough time has passed so here we go with my interpretation, nice and cleanly moulded, link and length track's, little fret of etch what else could a man want. A few shrink marks needed filling but construction was problem free. Once again a kit from a Ukrainian manufacturer quite old so don't expect plastic perfection but under a tenner game on. Some pics of built and primed

The dark pre shade was tamiya nato black the two green shades were mig ammo russian greens of some sort not my fault shake the bottle and the print comes off the lable. Next up I'll pick out the details tyre's track's exhaust.,gun breach etc then on with filters ,washes and the rest will try to keep it updated at diffrent points. Dave.

Have bashed on a fair bit ,went about this one a bit different from my usual method. For a start reached right up the back of the cupboard and pulled out the old Pledge floor polish ,this was partly bought about by the disscution on varnish else where on site ,must admit for the last three years at least have applied washes straight over a good old bone dry matt paint finish ,and have been using oil paint as well ,so all pics are WIP, I think when I do get to the end I'll be reaching up the back of the cupboard again im sure I've got a spray can of dull coat in there somewhere.
