        Meanwhile, back at the factory....

I won't bore you good people with a rivet by rivet build, I'll just post the salient points.
Suspension, rollers, idlers and drive wheels fixed, and all brush painted using Vallejo Air German Grey.

Are you going to have this one being rammed by a T34? (Keep Mr Race socially distanced. Apart from his feet issue, his pockets are full of glycerine and Potassium Permanganate !!)

              Thanks for the posts, boys.

No rammings for this build, Andrew. I'm under strict instructions from my Grandson "Just the stand alone model, please"

              453 - No comment.... :tongue-out3:!

I've put together the 12.8cm big gun. It went together easily following clear instructions. My late father showed me the trick of adding wear to this sort of thing....(I don't like chipping) Glue it together, paint it and when the paint is sort of tacky, carefully rub the model here and there with an old toothbrush to remove some paint. This is what I've done. Wear and tear sorted to my liking with no faffing about.
              Barrel loose fitted.

You can never have too many wheels when building tracked vehicles. So often on a tank build I think to myself........ ‘if only it had more wheels to build, fit, paint and weather’

I'll brush on a final coat of paint when the actual build is completed.

Next I'll start the fighting compartment detail.

                      Cheers.
