Have you a dio in the pipe line for this ?
      Morning Mr R,
I’m hoping my plan to fit this engine will work, if not I’m flexible !
      No plans for a dio though.....yet !

That's the same unit that comes in the Miniart T34 and derivatives interior kits. I've built it for my SU122 kit. Nicely detailed but needs a bit of care in construction. It also needs a fair bit of wiring added to do it justice.

Ooh I needed a diversion from ships for a bit and this looks like a smashing build to watch Si. Great start and choice of extra parts. Must someday try Voyager PE as it looks good.
Have three Tamiya kits with the same lower bodies in mothball. Hope to get inspiration to get them moving from this but won't be near as good. Finding a seat just behind the front row...looks like a full house.

            Cheers,
            Richard

Sorry for bailing out on full scratchy build mate Have a look at the detail on this engine, I couldn’t of even got close to it!

A bit of an update from the factory floor. There has been further hacking up of bits and we now have an inspection hatch ...

Hi Kevin, I wouldn’t say the pipe work was particularly fiddly. there is more to do though.

Good to see they're now providing wire for detailing. It wasn't included in my Su122 kit. I guess because they assume in the tank kit, the engine won't be seen but yours is marketed as a stand-alone engine kit?

                                Hi Michael,
I was surprised to see the wire to be honest. I suppose you could model it as just the engine/transmission if you wanted to.
