Thanks Rick. Good to see you are still hanging on in here.

Track side things fitted. I'll weather the tracks, where seen, at the next stage. No point in wasting time and paint on the tracks if hidden.

1st. coat of Vallejo Russian Green brushed on. Some nice streaks and blotches already showing through. - Luuuverrly!
Keep in mind you brush painters, the first 'Proper' coat will look awful. DON'T be tempted to thicken the paint for the subsequent coats. Be patient.

Thanks chaps. Glad you like the progress thus far.

Rick, I reckon a couple more coats should be enough. I don't go for uniform coverage. I don't see the point, when folks then add weathering streaks after getting a nice finish. Far better(for me anyway) to put in any such 'effects' during the painting process.

Thanks again for all your much appreciated input, boys.

                      Thanks Rich.

Second coat brushed on. One more should be enough.

Andrew, no need for any apologies. With all the builds being posted and updated on something that appears to be a conveyor belt on steroids, I miss loads of stuff too.

I confess to simply not being able to keep track.

                          Update.
Rain most of yesterday, so I was able to move on at a lick.

I've brushed on the last coat of paint and added the two decals. Some streaking left, which is just what I wanted. Now I can attend to the tracks, varnish the model and add some basic weathering to the brute.

Beautiful work as always Ron, you know I have a soft spot for those ugly yet strangely beautiful
                                WW2 Rooski beasts.

                                Carry on,
