Not a lot of bench time. Built the front winch and bumper again a lot of parts when fewer would have achieved the same. Added bolt and rivet details.

Removed the moulded on tie downs and replaced them with copper wire versions.

Scottie, the tie downs are the stuff I normally have no patience to do yet you guys do it like it's a matter of fact. :smiling6: That really amazes me. Very nice front end with all the nuts & bolts added.

              Cheers,

Can’t speak for Paul, but I find them very tiring/trying to add. However, once you do one, you kind of have to keep going with at least the visible ones, IMHO …

Richard, I'm surprised I have the patience to do them but they are worth doing. Normally the etch ones are to flat and nearly impossible to make them stay on.

Jakko, they are tiring but I think they are worth it in the end the hard thing is trying to keep them the same size.

Some more added to the chassis. the front axle has been fitted and some linkages that should have been fitted in earlier stages. All the parts were sprayed black and then a light coat of OD just to make it easier later on.

The end of the exhaust was drilled out and a clamp added.

Agreed on all of those points Though usually I’m satisfied with the kit-supplied version, sometimes you don’t have a real choice but to replace a lot or all.

The kit ones can look ok but another reason I like to replace then where possible is I do use them to tie things down by passing the strap/rope through them.
