When I did the 1/35 version the drivers arm was in a very similar position, right up near his face, but as he was leaning forward it was even tighter.
I know we shouldn't post pictures in other peoples topics, but here's one to illustrate the point if you want to look.Comment

Hi Gerry, did wonder about that but the kit instructions show his hand on top of steering wheel. (Strange position)
Andy, thanks for the picture, nice build by the way, it looks as though mine should be the same position.
Jacko - going to be interesting, don't know if I can get him back out easily enough now so may resort to trimming in situ.
Thanks for the comments all.Comment

No problem Nick, and I know what you mean about getting him out for trimming. I had to glue my driver together in situ, hence the shoulder seams.Comment

Another thing strikes me, looking back at the sprues - is the driver the only figure in the kit? Most of the 1/35th ones have two or three -0 usually posed to stand next to the vehicle, which is kind of odd
Andy - is the 1/35th driver in the same pose as this one? Perhaps it's panatgraphed down, so a potential error has been transcribed.
Why do I think of stuff like this?Comment

Okay, okay - now I'm showing my age! Or my ancient use of English. Now, I just have to go cut a disc of my favourite pop tunes...Comment
