Hi Chris, i agree the arm seems a little strange. Moved it up a little and seems to fit on top of the steering wheel now. Just noticed though I've now put his shoulder out of line. Grr !

Wondering if the arm is intended to rest on the edge of his compartment?

When I did the 1/35 version the drivers arm was in a very similar position, right up near his face, but as he was leaning forward it was even tighter.

I know we shouldn't post pictures in other peoples topics, but here's one to illustrate the point if you want to look.

If you can’t get the arm loose to reposition it, you can probably fix the worst problem by trimming the rear of the arm flush with the figure’s back, then re-painting.

Hi Gerry, did wonder about that but the kit instructions show his hand on top of steering wheel. (Strange position)
Andy, thanks for the picture, nice build by the way, it looks as though mine should be the same position.
Jacko - going to be interesting, don't know if I can get him back out easily enough now so may resort to trimming in situ.
            Thanks for the comments all.

No problem Nick, and I know what you mean about getting him out for trimming. I had to glue my driver together in situ, hence the shoulder seams.

Another thing strikes me, looking back at the sprues - is the driver the only figure in the kit? Most of the 1/35th ones have two or three -0 usually posed to stand next to the vehicle, which is kind of odd

Andy - is the 1/35th driver in the same pose as this one? Perhaps it's panatgraphed down, so a potential error has been transcribed.
Why do I think of stuff like this?

Hopefully easily sorted, but does seem strange arm positioning.

I would be highly surprised if anything in the past 25 or so years — if not more — has been pantographed down rather than having been resized on a computer

Okay, okay - now I'm showing my age! Or my ancient use of English. Now, I just have to go cut a disc of my favourite pop tunes...

Groovy... Heh, see what I did there
                                Wait... Music tracks... Tracked carrier
Great googly-moogly.. It does all fit together!
                                Unlike, say, the driver's arm
Double heh... See what I did there. Again
