So after what seems a lifetime ive got the workbench back (dining table) Boris says the other half can pack up all his stuff and return to office. I know I promise I will finish the little Tatra and the wandering earth scifi truck just after all these weeks didn't fancy tring, to carry on where I left off. Besides who could resist this little beauty not me evidently I just had to have one , so whats in the box ,molded in the usual green plastic for this manufacturer there are two sprues of wheels and bits both the same and a larger one of body parts two small frets of etch thats about it.

Seems ok if you enlarge or click on it the last sentence seem a bit strange.

Always welcome Tim UM and UMMT do some great subjects if only some of the big boys were brave enough to knock out something as interesting as this. Dave

Got the hull together no big issues couple of shrink marks on the thicker spots but these are run of the mill with UMMT and UM so no big surprises, running gear went without a hitch. Got the link and length done on one side this evening no majors there either ,these little kits from the Ukraine aren't perfect you'll never shake and bake one but with a little care and thought they are good fun to build ,plus I think this one was under nine pounds so didn't expect the moon but the subject choices with their stuff is brilliant.

The mr hobby cement is in a coffee jar lid it fits that well it clicks in(TET jars the same)trouble is cant remember who's coffee and never seem to see said jar when I go shopping shame because a nice little stabilising jar holder thing, on the subject of this sort of thing some of the guys were saying what they put their dab of super glue on my favorite is the caps of of the bisto carton, put your blob on leave what you don't use to go hard flex the lid leftovers pop off clean lid simples.
Finally oh how I missed it after eight weeks the bench is back organised chaos.

Going well, I have nothing but admiration for those that build something smaller that pin vice, and every time I use mine I will think of you mini builders.

          Andy.

Thanks Andy as I said no real probs so far ,as for the coffee jar lid thinking about it now I'm sure I've seen ready made glue jar holders(3D printed i think )cheaper than a jar of decent coffee. As for small I could start a new thread about this subject/topic perhaps when I've got a few minuets ill put something up in my usual Brian Clough style ,usualy gets members talking and thinking wich I see as a positive Dave.

Ha rain stopped play in the garden so have got her up to primer no real problems nothing worth chucking the dummy out of the pram for anyway . Only prob now is black or gray primer been using black on the last few builds so might just go with it.Click image for larger version

Chucked some primer at it this morning ,current favourite being mig one shot ,bottle says no need to thin but I thin it fifty fifty or so with mr hobby aqueous thinner in the airbrush cup till it runs nicely down the side works for me. Will lock it up in the ubiquitous takeaway carton for a couple of days to harden up fully and hopefully throw some green over it one evening in the week.

Looking good David. The primer ties the build together nicely.

                    Hi David
An interesting subject, typical UM kit. I built a UM kit for the Simon T Memorial GB and it went together nicely. I know Simon bought a few of these kits, probably attracted by the unusual subjects and they're cheap :tongue-out3:
Looks to have gone together nicely and the primer does not look to have throw up any issues.
                    Jim
