    Small correction: that’s the unditching log you’re talking about. The snorkel is carried on the rear of the turret.

        Yes Mike......then take a "time out" on the naughty steps for 10 minutes. :tongue-out3: :tongue-out: looks like you are moving this along at a fair clip....I will have to stay vigilant if I don't want to miss anything. Rick H.

                          The hull is now complete and ready for primer...

                          As you can see I just had to get rid of the plastic flexible tube and replaced it with lead wire (solder). the front idler wheel and drive sprockets were added as these will not go on after the side skirts are in place.
                          As it is now actually in primer and drying the time has come to complete the turret.

                          98, yes 98 of the little dears, all added and not one lost, this shot was taken during the fitting of the 'fuel pipes' from the drums. I decided to let the c/a fully harden before doing more work on the hull, so added the little brass items.
