Das Werk 'King Tiger' Pzr Abt 505

Well, seeing the progress being done on various builds on here I figured I needed to 'pull my finger out'...

So here's my next build, The 1/35 king Tiger from 'Das Werk', ..(apparently this is the MENG kit without the interior).

She's currently sitting waiting for some oil paint weathering to dry, but it's coming along nicely.. need to work out a dio for it next..

Link and Length tracks.... (mixed feelings about these, maybe one day I'll throw a set of fruils onto a build just to see how different they are)

Modified 'Schurzen', These should be full length, however I went a bit crazy with a razor saw. (lol) .....Besides, Tigers always look better with battered or missing Schurzen !

Yup, top marks on the camo application. Sad that the pre-shade is gone.

      Cheers,
      Richard

Chris, nice, if that's how you get on with link and length I don't think you need to think about Fruils, I can't manage those link and lengths so where they have been made for the model then I use the Fruil.

            Chris,
            Beautifull build and finish.
Do not ever worry about how fast you build or how others build, you do what you can, when you can and how you can.
            Mike.

              Chris,
Coming on nicely mate. I echo what Mike has said build at your own pace.

But not at my pace...takes too long. :tears-of-joy:
