    Who? Who? Ron's 251/20 UHU , that's who !

AFV Club's 1/35 kit. Only the drivetrain done so far, or nearly so. I used Dragon late-version magic tracks and had to delete some of the inner teeth on the drive sprockets, but otherwise they fit okay. I felt like adding some bolthead detail and replaced a bit of the kit details with the punch & die set. Accuracy not guaranteed, my reference books vary a tad, so just keeping it fun. Constructive comments welcomed, as opposed to "silence" from Minitnkr Paul..... :smiling:

    Evening Ron.
Wow that's nice detailing with the bolt heads. Tracks look good mate, I'm envious of those .

I would’ve sworn it’s a Matchbox kit, what with three colours of plastic to be seen Looking good, though.

            Ron,
Looking good mate. I built one of these not long back, it goes together very well. I will follow this along mate.

Lol, Thanks, yeah it was odd when opening the box to see the tan plastic. But I prefer working with it moreso than.the olive color.

It's the little things....:smiling: like "nuts'n'bolts". Very detailed tracks w/proper sag really set it off.

                        Hi Ron
I like halftracks. You're off to a great, neat start and the added details are worth the effort.

After a long hibernation, UHU is back in the game, hope you all like it so far. Accuracy is not the order of the day on this. Just following pics of others work online , with a build-up article in an old AFV Modeler mag. I'm not loving my job of damaging the front fenders. They're Okay, but just Okay I think.
May try again on a pair of Dragon fenders from the spares box.

Great stuff Ron ,the best part is accuracy is not the order of the day just out for some not to worried down time plus no doubt you've learnt a few new tricks for the portfolio along the way ,I did smile at the removal of teeth from the sprocket ,working with 72nd scale link and length tracks dentistry is often the way to get a hassel free wrap around the drive sprocket ,very impressive so far keep it coming. Dave
