Great stuff Ron ,the best part is accuracy is not the order of the day just out for some not to worried down time plus no doubt you've learnt a few new tricks for the portfolio along the way ,I did smile at the removal of teeth from the sprocket ,working with 72nd scale link and length tracks dentistry is often the way to get a hassel free wrap around the drive sprocket ,very impressive so far keep it coming. Dave
Thanks Dave for your validating words oh by the way , regarding the dentistry on that sprocket ! On my next AFV Club halftrack build I'd come to realize that I hadn't pressed the two halves firmly enough for a proper fit. DOH !!!
Coming on very nicely indeed Ron. Missed the start of this last year.

Thanks Amdrew, yep this one quite nearly became a 'not-to- be'. I'm glad I resurrected it with the help of Blast Models. Been wanting to do this nearly 15-20 years I'd say ?
Ron, I love it, definitely, and the damaged fenders look nice to me: credible damage and good thickness.
Thank You Andy ! Sorry that it's not a wingy-thing for you :tongue-out: I want to try photo-etched fenders some time to compare ease of inflicting damage....
Hi Jakko, yes I used the moto-tool with round burrs to thin them. I wanted bent-and-twisted sheet metal , but instead produced shredded-from-shrapnel effect. That's why I'll probably try another set of fenders. Using the mini-torch to warp the plastic is tricky though (for me anyway).
Ron, I built this a few years ago but didn't go for the blast additions wish I had now looking at yours.
The great thing about them Paul, is they fill up so much space that it seems to do most of the build for you ! Of course, I say that before commencing on the searchlight assembly ! That looks a bit daunting....
