    Scud B

Not sure where this one fits in the sections, armoured - yes, artillery - yes, missile - yes, so put it here....
Had this one for few months now lingering in the shed, big box kept getting in the way....

And so onto the build - this starts with the chassis, and I will admit that this had already been started so that I could get it square, and today I added most of the interior items, with still more to go....

And can be left seperated to aid additional work. I am a bit further on with this part of the build which takes up 13 sections of the instructions and that does not include the suspension....
    More later

      Mike,
that's a lot of bits! I have the aging Dragon model in the stash, and it looks rudimentary in comparison! The 1/72 Toxso Scud I made had almost as many parts as the Dragon - just a reflection on how simple it is.
What camo finish are you going for? - or is it going to be a pristine parade vehicle?

        Hello Dave,
Just to prove how many parts - I labelled the sprues with masking tape and their i/d letters to identify the sprue I wanted to save scrabbling constantly through and through.
The finish will be Russian green with some weathering, to do otherwise would have JR camping out on my doorstep... and even wrapping his sandwiches in a road map did not give hime the hint....
I did look at the Dragon kit, and read/watch reviews on it before I purchased this one. The problem comes with where do you put it after it is finished....
        Mike.

Of course I shall be in , although too modern for me the mere mention of Russian Green caught my interest.

Oh and the last one I built I omitted the cleaning rod holder on the side.... So that only needed 19.

This one is Trumpeter, but Dragon also produced a slightly inferior one.
