The gun is nicely detailed too. Almost a shame you won't see it with the turret closed up.........Drive on Bro!!!

    Cheers Allen,
Glad you like the tweaks, there are some pioneer tools but I haven't looked at them that closely yet.

The turret basket builds up into a very nice little assembly. But virtually nothing will be seen when the turret goes on. I meant to take some pictures of the interior but got carried away and assembled the turret.

Made some straps to hold the external tools on from masking tape and etch buckles.

Added some replacements for some of the turret detail. The blade sight was made from pewter as the plastic kit one was very poor and the rear hatch bump stop was made out of etch sprue and a bit of evergreen. Finally the handles on the turret sides were made from copper wire and punched pewter rivets

A tank with parquet flooring in the turret?

I was quite surprised to see wooden flooring as well maybe it helped deaden the noise inside the turret

Lovely details Paul/Scottie, nothing like a wooden deck to stand on eh matey.

                          Cheers,
                          Richard

Cheers Richard it would have been better than a metal floor.

Funny thing happened, by coincidence I picked up an old MM magazine and one of the articles was the A9 with quite a few pictures and unit markings that operated it. It's the February 2006 issue with a Challenger 2 on the cover.

                                Cheers,
                                Richard
