Three more to go and that is that little job out of the way - next it will be adding all the bolt heads that are missing and then onto the two turret hatches.
    More later.

            Update,
The turret build is now complete and ready for priming and paint.
The items like the m/g mount and antennaes will be added seperately.

Bit like showing the boring holiday snaps - and here is one of little Jimmy learning to swim with the Dolphins - never realised Dolphins had teeth that big.....
            More later

                  Update,
Turret is now under a coat of primer and ready for the base coat.
So while that was drying off, I reworked the GPMG (call it what you want it is still a GPMG).

The camera would not go down far enough for the focus, so had to put the pics through photoshop. Not happy with the gas regulator, so will change that and add the front legs before priming/painting.
Now waiting for the tendons to heal in my fingers after the dog decided to chase a squirrel and take three of my fingers with him via the lead. So as this is my good hand, spraying will be a bit of fun using my other hand, but we will get there.
                  More later
                  Mike.

Hopefully tomorrow I can start putting down a base coat on the whole lot.
                    Cheers
                    Mike.

                        Hi Mike
Great stuff. Hope the hand gets better soon. Blame the squirrel not the dog. Our Belle, God rest her, always considered squirrels as cheats. It just wasn't cricket to climb a tree rather than play chase properly. She was such a soft dog I honestly don't think she would have hurt anything. She once found a baby blackbird and just gently snuffled it.

The bruising on the hand is starting to appear, but still cannot push down with the fingers so the thumb is working overtime. But it is funny how you soon find out who your friends are when you are stuck on the throne..... :relieved:

                              Update,
Got the base coat onto all the parts that needed it and set it aside toy dry - 24 hours later gave the whole lot a wash with W&N Burnt Umber and have let that dry out for 36 hours.
I have started to add some of the stowage, mainly because the finish on the boxes is a bit glossy, so these will get a coat of matt varnish along with the rest...
