Can I suggest you do this as your next build??? :smiling5:

Andrew, they had been used in the Winter War against Finland, on two occasions they managed to cross some wide trenches and a river. Other than that they did have some problems with the winch to lift up the framework in the cold .
I did have a look at a basic drawing but think it is beyond me ! There was however a wooden bridge one , but no photos :loudly-crying:

              Good morning all

So Monday saw another Model Club night and a chance to work on the kit.

Having made the hull we started on the conversion set, a first for Junior. All the sets made by S&S Models are for the wargamer and are white metal, with S&S being a two man operation. This means that they can sometimes be a bit rough and ready places, and need a bit of work but at the same time they're usually pretty substantial - perfect for our use and without being so detailed as to turn Junior off. The short walk-around of the Overloon bridgelayer has been a great help, as has a 1/35 scratch build we found online.

So for better or worse, below is where we go to on Monday night. As usual the camera has picked up a few few things I missed and made some things look worse than they are in real life.

              ACW as usual

              Andrew
