I’ve not seen this model in the flesh, I think, but I have seen a paper model at one-half the scale (so twice as big), and yeah, even taking that into account I felt it was huge

Now where is that photo? Aha …

Ah, not twice as big but 1.5 times. Too bad there are no models of known size to compare it with in the photo, though.

You could re-work this kit into a civilian version.

Towards the end I really did get tired of looking at it, and was pleased when the last bit went into place.

Not normally awarded before a model is finished , but this is in a league of its own Mike.
          Cheers, hip Hoppity...

                    Short update,
The base has now been sanded and filled and painted. The ground work from DAS has been laid onto/into the base and is now in the airing cupboard to dry which should take about three days...
                    Pics to follow.
                    Cheers
                    Mike.

                          Hello Youngerthanme person,
The headache is now going away (although could be the JD). More pics on the completed models section. And it is BIG!!!! I compared it to my Challenger on the same base design and it dwarfs it, and it eats a T72....
Hope you are staying well and at the bench when you can.
                          Cheers

Mike, sorry I lost track of your D9R build until today... it's a great result and, as Neil said, I could look at it for hours.
