Not all the sprues but you can see this is a great little kit from the packaging to the mouldings, also really well engineered it just fell together ,I only used one piece of the etch and that was only because I broke the plastic part drilling it out. I've praised zvezda before for their little 72nd snap fit kits dont be fooled by that snap fit monica they put trumpeter and hobbyboss 72nd kits with all their moulded on tools and tow cables barrel cradles to shame ,over simplified kids kits almost. This one being one of their full kits.

So well thought out even all the under carriage was a joy.
Sorry forgot to take more photos. Have been using mr hobby aqueous surfacer 1000 to prime my stuff lately ,this has to be the best acrylic primer out there

Thanks guys I dont want to blabber on but this kit is up there with the best their recent stuff is excellent trouble is the name on the box still carries a certain amount of stigma for their early stuff and maybe the current situation but that has nothing to do with mr zvezda. I used to use mr color surfacer 1500 a lot but the household complained about the stink so switched to mig one shot wich was OK personally never had any problems using it but reading other people's thoughts it seemed to fall into the marmite bovril devide, then saw the mr hobby aqueous surfacer same as the other but without the smell , looking forward to chucking some colour at it now. Dave

That is looking fine. All credit to Zvezda for such a good kit to start with. That primer does look to have gone on well.

Nice, they did have a bad name , buy have much improved in recent years. I along with Dave Ward have built quite a few in 1/35 and have been impressed with the detail and price.

Good looking kit Dave. Primer has gone on nicely as well. Might have to invest in some of that :thumb2: How does it sand? That’s always been the bugbear of acrylic primers to me.

Tim sorry I can't help you there on the rare occasion I do use filler it has to be a right gaper and rubbed down before primer ,shssss dont tell the others but I've never after primer thought oh blow I'll have to fill that again what!! and then have to get primer back out na I'll dumb it up with a bit of rust or dirt/mud. On a serious note I used to use the mr hobby 1500surfacer lacquer one but wether my weathering and streaking and scrubbing with mostly low odour white spirit was to aggressive I was finding the acrylic paints coming away from the primer ,the 1500surfacer is so smooth its like silk personally the best there is but is it too smooth was the acrylic not adhering properly. Still thanks for your continued encouragement.....Dave

Hi John, yeh but people tend to forget one has to start somewhere look at them now their subject matter may not appeal to all although I think they've added to the as if the world needs another one list. As for price very competitive ,im not ashamed to say with the current situation ive grabbed a few zvezda kits of the flea bays wether people feel uncomfortable with having zvezda stuff I dont know but if cheap ill grab it. Dave

Zvezda have churned out some really cracking kits over the last few years, some of which isn't covered by the 'bigger' manufacturers, so if it's what you fancy then go for it..
besides, various car and clothing manufacturers made their names after creating stuff that wasn't intended for the nicer end of life... eg, Mercedes, BMW, Hugo Boss...etc
