Love birds in the garden.. cats try and kill them...
...trying to feed feed hedgehogs in the garden... Cats snaffle their food..
... Try to keep a nice garden.. cats crap on it everywhere...

Plenty of badly controlled dogs out there Andy……and plenty of irresponsible owners. On the other hand there are plenty of responsible cat owners….I’m one of them.Comment

... I just prefer to have a nice home for birds and other wildlife around here that isn't plagued be the vermin that I regard cats as!
Guess we aren't going to agree on this,so we'll draw a line under it eh mate?!:thumb2:Comment

End of the day chaps, if any of these creatures give you comfort, happiness or just feel good then that's ok.
I looked after a moggie when I was in my last job, I only did night shift and the cat was brilliant company. Kept me company and a few laughs along the way. (Also a few mice and a a half regurgitated dickie bird - not so nice). But hey - I would have gone stir crazy without it as company.
Would I keep one myself - nah.Comment

We've have 2 lovely cats, one came as a stray having been dumped. Used to sit on my shoulder and be with us in the garden. Unfortunately following a nasty road accident it had to be put to sleep. 2nd cat was saved from being put to sleep at the vets as the owners were going to Canada and didn't want to dump it. It lived a long and happy life and died next to me and the collie when we were sitting on the settee.
By the time of the second cat the collie arrived, got on reasonably well with the cat, the odd smack from the cat put the dog in its place. After the collie died we decided that was it, until I came home with Gertie a beautiful Doberman. Again needed a home as the owner had to get rid of her as he had moved into rented accommodation. It died of old age , and was put to sleep here at home by the vet. A terrible thing i'd never want to go through again. We would ensure both dogs did their business before going for a walk.
Unfortunately we often have to pick up dogs mess from our drive and on the borders, some people just don't care and walk well ahead of their dogs not bothering to see what they are doing. The rest carry bags and do the right thing. The only thing I don't like is dogs stopping to cock their leg up on my plants:angry: .
Also had a rabbit , guinea pig , and a gang of stick insects . These escaped from their container and had to be rounded up .
Now have fish , no trouble apart from feeding and cleaning the filter.Comment

.... Anyway... Catgate is over, back to the build :thumb2:....
Just a small update,I corrected the ill fitting bits of the Zim on the rear section...
.... bit better now I think,
Now then,I nievely thought that these would come with all of the cut outs pre done.. but NO,it comes thus...
.... After quite some time,I cut the bits out.....
... and once fitted....
... It's going to take a while, but I do like this stuff.... I have done the front bit also, but forgot to take a photo!!
I'm liking how it's all coming together so far,and am determined to make it the best AFV that I've done to date...well,I just HAVE to really, after all,Rach is my expectant critic!!:flushed:,
It's a VERY enjoyable build all round and I'm looking forward to each bit of bench time :thumb2:
As always, thanks for looking in and any thoughts, hints, tips,or plain old abuse, very welcomed:tears-of-joy:,Comment

An a bit disappointed that you've not done DIY zimbut understand why.... Especially as I'm currently covering a 1/72 StuH 42 in DIY waffle zimm....:tired::disappointed:.... It does look really good actually.
Keep up the great work!
