Update,
So the hull halves are now joined, no real problems that three hands could not have solved - so while getting the front end glued the rear panel developed a life of its own... But not a real problem as the c/a actually helped lubricate it into place once the clamps were put to use. Left for a few hours and then went to work with the fillet/putty to fill in the few gaps and to re-profile the top of the door opening and roof profile, this was left overnight to dry and then sanded down.
Next it was time to do some work on the turret...
This is the main centre turntable and ammo box storage and all fitted to the lower turret plate. Still more work to do here including adding the boxes to the inside of the turret itself.
Some etch grills added along with some homemade tie downs ready for the shovels....
Here you can see two of the three new mudguards fitted with part of the last one still attached to the fret in the lower right of the pic. And now time for a break...
Cheers

I wondered about that too. First I thought you had forgotten you had already posted something in the same vein, but then I compared the two and they’re word for word identical, so I figured you hadn’t posted it twice yourself. Some kind of glitch in the forum, I guess? Maybe because John’s tinkering with stuff to facilitate changing it to different software in a while?Comment

Update,
So a bit more work done on the hull and more work carried out on the turret...
Testing the turret turntable for fit....
The innards of the turret with the seats in the background still to be added, plus smaller handles etc..
The replacement Rarden barrel...
And a dry run to see if it fits...
And then it will be on to this....
With these.....
Cheers

Update,
Sorry Jakko, forgot I had this one in the stash....
Anyway back to the build...
I started off adding the turret periscopes, and after cutting them off the sprue further inspection revealed they would be a lot of work...
So the second option was to use the etch ones but I got a problem of the very thin lens/front not bending true and flat.
So the final option was to scratch build my own, but I would use the etch covers...
So the 'periscope part was cut from the cover part and discarded. The cover was then bent to shape and attached to the turret.
The 'gaps you can see are in fact filled with c/a and once dry sanded to shape as were the scratch periscopes...
I have also been working on the large front sights and added those...
Just a bit of cleaning up required ready for the mesh screen later in the painting.
The headlights have also had some attention paid to them - I bored out the plastic front and after painting the inside 'Chrome Silver' I will add the light bulb and lens.
And finally here are a couple of pics to show the progress so far....
Cheers
