I haven't had a model for 3 days now and couldn't stand it no longer.
so I have just been to emodels and brought the stryker.
this looks a value for money kit for sure.
24 quid for a trumpeter kit with over 500 parts rubber tyres pe parts and of course trumpeter quality.
I must say the last three models I recently built. a 48 scale stuka a 32 scale junkers bomber and a 32 scale euro copter all by revel have all been poor quality poor fitting kits and as a result they were a little rushed. but having said that I am not a professional modeller and these have been good for practice as they were so cheap. and I found the decals better quality than some of the more expencive kits.
I might embarrass myself and put a few pics on lol.
Im thinking I will try and take my time and get a better more professional finished product and I think I would like to make a small dio to mount it.
but I don't have much idea of how to do it or what scene to set?
I was hoping to buy some more pe detail parts at the same time but theyhad got none in stock.
mail order only... poo.
I think I best do some research now on how to weather it properly and maybe learn how to do a little battle damage
I may post some pics during this build.
if I can take my time with it. im like a kid with a new toy every time I get a new kit then end up rushing it to get on with the next one.
