    I was thinking of microfibre, the stuff in cheap pillows or jacket linings - it's thinner in texture & finer.

      I did the zimmerit with the revell Putty and with tamiya zimmerit tools. That's it ;-)

      Yes these microfiber looks good for that :-)

          Nice work Benny, the Elefant is looking great. Those figure will be great when painted. Interested to see how the ciggy smoke turns out

            Started working on the diorama...

            The Elefant got dirt and dust

                very nice looking Benny, Elefant, matches the base real well,is that some type off sand ?

                did you do the horse as a chestnut ? if possible could you show a couple off pictures off the horse for me please just a bit closer

                cannot wait to see what you do with the base and waiting for your figures as well, keep up the good work

                      The groundwork is made of plaster and then I poured plaster onto the wet surface. The plaster soaks the water but don't loose its texture ;-)

                      Yes Monica , it's a Chestnut (in Germany it's called Fuchs which means fox ;-) )

                      I will take some pics today after work :-)
