    FRENCH 305 mm RAILGUN

    Hi guys

    latest railgun,but not scratch built decided to try a 5 star resin kit for a change very good kit for resin but not cheap at £ 80. As you can see there are a lot of parts dont know if it will be a dio yet.i


    only parts i dont like are handrails being to thick so will make new ones

            That looks like liepold gun that was used to shell UK ( todt battery)??


            Never knew French had guns that big

                    The instructions are just a exploded veiw but you can see where it all goes ,I think cutting off casting plugs and cleaning parts are going to take longer then building it.


                    forgot to say model is 1 72 and it is a w w 1 gun,the french had a impresive collection of rail guns at the end of w w 1 a lot was destroyed before w w 2 but the better guns were used for defence on the maginot line they were in turn captured and used by the germans the resin kit is one of these.

                            Progress on railgun to date both sides now got camo on ,Its a long process masking for each colour on each side, then have got to do top and bogies.enjoying it though.[ATTACH]108588.IPB[/ATTACH]
