Look good Steve, just the right amount, easy to over do , and knowing when enough is enough is hard.

      Hi Everyone

It certainly is Wouter. Cant wait to use it on the winter camo for the Bison
Glad you like it Scottie. Many thanks
Less is more JR. That was the first bit of advice I ever received on chipping from our comrade Si

                        Hi Everyone

I went for your suggestion with the tammy paint Wouter on the hairspray. It was a lot better than the Vallejo practice sessions I had
Less is more as they say Scottie. I think there was enough hairspray chipping to keep the viewer interested
Thanks Jim. Hope you like the oils too
                        Appreciate it Ralph
It was a pig to put together Steven but worth it in the end

Don't know how you do it Steve. Do you go out and stare at rusted tractors? How do you know what wear and tear looks like or is there pure instinct involved? Scottie's another who has your powers of observation. Just amazing work.

Morning all, yes I agree with Peter, you definitely have a knack for this .
That size of the chipping on the frame a couple of posts back was just perfection, looked real .

                              Hi Everyone

Peter/JR - My inspiration for this weathering was the film Ice Cold in Alex. I did a lot of pausing and zooming in. There was little chipping on the main body but more on handles, doors, hatches etc. There was a lot of speckling on the vehicle. There was also a crude attempt at a paint brush camo pattern. I didn't like the look of that so I didn't copy that. I do however confess to having a modellers eye when viewing the world nowadays. Looking at different vehicles and how dirty they look. Livin the dream!! :smiling3::smiling3::smiling5:

                                Stunningly realistic.

I have often thought the same.
