Thanks gents. Steve, production of the kettengrads continued through 1948 for various forestry services. JayCee, I use a lighted magnifying glass to mount the figures' heads & hats. PaulE
Here are four dismounted PG squads (251) in various states of completion. These are made up of parts of two sets of Preiser walking dudes (#16557), two guys from a Preiser dismounting PG set (#16528, upper right MG & asst.), & two ROCO squad leaders (far right). PaulE
Rick, apparently they were confused before settling on a scale as early stuff was sometimes closer to 1/76 or 1/100 besides 1/87. Their Africa Corps kit of figures was pretty good. That's where the squad leaders came from. PaulE
That's the Dogs you know whats Paul, love the cobble street...what brand is it and a source if you please? Gobbs of interesting debris as well.....truly looks the part. Rick H.
