So for my birthday, my son and his wife bought me this. I’ve been working two days and this is all I have done.

Well that should keep you busy for a while. In 1:35 scale, you are going to need some shelf space for it. Cracking looking kit.Steve -
Usually, I do 1/25 or 1/24 scale, cars or trucks, but my son noticed that I was building them pretty fast so he thought he would give me a challenge. Plus, I’m a former marine that served in operation desert storm so I have experience with these vehicles that I’m building now.
This thing even came with a lot of PE parts, something else I’m fairly new at and haven’t quite figured out how to attach them firmly..👍 1Comment

Hi, if I can offer a bit of advice with the PE. Clean thoroughly to remove any oils use hot soapy water and let dry. When you have removed the part gently score the mating face with the tip of a sharp blade and the point on the vehicle where it will go. Then use a good CA glue. Don't be tempted to use all the PE just because it's there. Quite often its no better then the kit part and its very two dimensional so for example to make handles use wire instead. HTH
