Still utterly discombobulated mate - I need to up my game now. I'll use your work as the inspiration for what's possible. Superb job!

Hello all, just a quick update. Prior to fitting the internals it was time to detail the inside so I have spent some time mucking up the interior. I still need to add some oil and engine staining to the engine location. You may notice the gear shift gate This was scratched as there was no kit part unless you count a lump of plastic with no detail which was moulded in the place where this should be.

The radiator ducting has been finished in aluminium the instruction called for dark yellow but my pics show in plain plus it adds a bit of variation.

The transmission has also been done prior to fitting the keen eyed amongst you will notice the gear stick is missing this will be added after the gearbox has been fitted to allow me to line it up with the gear gate.

I have now added the internals and I'm quite happy with the way it's going. The radiator flap does indeed work via the lever in the drivers position. Not really important just wanted to see if I could do it lol. This is now pretty much done just have the throttle cable to add.

Sorry its a bit picture heavy.

The panniers are leaning out at the moment this is due to a slight warp in the body but it will get rectified later.

Scratched a horn that was also missing from the kit.

I have also made a start on making the engine cover. The kit part is very thick and has some horrible ejector marks on the inner curved surfaces so I thoght I would have a go making a new one. I made the piano hinge and it does work. I still have the catches to add but I need to wait until I can position this in the right place.

Hello all, progress has been slow but I have been working on the front forks. Adding some detail here and there. One thing missing completely is the linkage to the track brakes. When the steering was moved pass a certain amount it automatically applied the track brakes to that side.
I have added the plate to the cross beam, but I still have to make the links.

The headlamp has also received some work. I have added the reflector inside the light as there was nothing there at all, and a bulb. Just for a bit of interest I "smashed the glass". The mounting points had the plastic lugs removed and some new ones from scraps of brass added. Finally for the lamp I added a disc to the switch.

Finally for now the mudguard has had the edges thinned down and the holes filled.
