Not getting a lot of bench time at the moment but managed to finish with the exception of the matt coat the water bottle, helmet and water bottle. The helmet liner has some work done to it and the straps have been made from pewter sheet.

    Next the MP38/40
also added the muck underneath this needs to be sealed with a matt coat.

Getting there. Wheels now added the hubs have been detailed with nut and lock springs. I have also added the mechanical linkages from the forks to the steering brakes although you can't see them.

The seat cushions were made from blue foam which I squeezed together to give that sat in look. they were then covered with some tissue and painted in oils.

Next up is the tarp and the tracks that will need a lot of work.

Hi, Paul, Apologies for not commenting sooner. I have not been on the site as much as I should have. I have just read through your build so far and am feeling completely disillusioned. The work I am doing on my Manx pales at the side of yours. I will have to substantially up my game. You have given me the kick up the backside I needed by showing what can be achieved in this scale. Keep up the good work.
      John.

John, good to see you again I hope life is good. Thanks for the fine comments but you have no reason to up your game at all the detail you are adding to your manx is superb. I just suffer from a particular type of lunacy.

I have spent the last couple of evenings cleaning up the track links. the pads have all been damaged to reflect wear and tear and a lot of flash removed. The links have also received a lot of clean up with a lot of flash ejector marks and worse of all the track pin heads were very badly moulded they didn't even look like bolts rather just lumps. So they had to be removed from 84 links and new bolt heads punched to replace them so altogether 168 lumps removed and replaced. Still that is the joy of modelling. The tracks are assembled and will be painted tomorrow.
