    The end is Nigh

    Been working on this little chap over last couple of days, its Tamiya's 1/48 scale Komatsu Bulldozer. Building it as a abandoned item just left to rot in the sun. Great kit to put together, doesn't take long. Best bit - getting the rust on the model. Needs a flay coat adding, oil and grease spots, chipping on blade and parts of body;

            Looks great, is it going in a diorama?

            Other question did the drawings for the meng model 17 you asked for worked?

            Cheers Richard

                Stand alone I think, was going to enter it into a model comp here, away on holiday and get back the day before the show, so may just get put on a plinth to start with and reworked later. Drawings were for the other version, had another look round house, got box out again and I had put them in upside down so thru looked like they were actually the bottom of the box !!

                  Nope, used vallejos rust and chipping set ( comes with 5 colours, 1 chipping medium and 1 bottle of matt varnish). Didn't realise you needed to thin the chipping medium to spray (airbrush clogged after 5 minutes) top coat is Tamiya ijn.
