Looks a bit overkill to me, i might have to get the 8 tonner instead ??.

                    LOoks pretty good to me.

As for being a bit overkill For the trailer it is fine but for the 88 the KfZ 7 might be a better bet.

The KfZ 9 used for tank recovery was not a match for dragging a Tiger, It was common to use two or three of them in a train to pull the big boys! Now that would be a diorama!!! lol.

Great work on that boggie set by the way.

                      Thanks Ian,

I bought the Famo to go with the 88mm but when i put the two together it just looked a bit OTT, i am still building the trailor that came with the Famo & this will go with a dio on it's own,

or thinking about it i might even put the 88mm on the trailor ??.

                      Regards

                      John.

                              Hi John

I built the Famo and placed it on the trucks part of the forum. I used all sorts on the back such as oli drums, jerry cans, ration boxes, buckets etc, They certainly filled the back up. Have a look at least it will give you an idea of what can be placed in the cargo bay. The title of the thread if North African Famo, or something like that...............

                              Andy

Found it here is the link

                                Thanks Andy for the info.

Nice FAMO by the way, i have made one or two boxes to go in the back along with oil drums & jerry cans.

Made the boxes out of bit's of wood left over from a wooden boat, just need to wether them & put some lables on.
