I have had some problems uploading the final pictures with the windshield. I hope this time it will work.

First I used the windshield piece to make a draw to imitate the rain marks:

I used that draw to transfer the image to tape:

Then I placed the tape in the clear plastic pieces:

And I airbrushed a very dilluted layer of tan and made some thicker markings with the brush:

I also sprayed some paint with a thick old brush and this is how it looks:

Then I painted the inner part of the roof and the rubber borders of the glass:

And this is how it looks all together:

Thanks everyone for your kind comments!

I've had some crazy weeks at work and I couldn't find a minute to post my advances, but finally here they are:

I finished painting the roof canvas with some desert camo:

I had the image in my head of a humvee ramming a door (still don't remember if I saw that in Generation Kill, Call of Duty or the news...) Anyway, I thought it was a powerful image so I just tried something like that:

First I painted and weathered one of the rubber tires of the kit:

Then I cut a pewter sheet to get a sling:

Next, I placed the tire in the grid:

Some adjustments and a photoetched hook:

And there you have, a menacing ram!

Afterwards I airbrushed some green and brown, just like if the owners would haved use some spray cans, as you can see in some pictures:

Step by step, it's nearly to be finished...

                Regards!

                        Hi folks!

Long time no see, but it has been a rough time at work.

Anyway, here you have the update and final pics of this project!

Adding some dust, I finished the canvas roof of the vehicle:

I also painted the small details such as lights:

                        Jerrycans and weapons:

                        Mud:

And then I finally glued the chassis, body and roof:

Then some more backpacks and jerrycans at the back. Some more machineguns and antennaes, and there you have it:

                        And that's it!

I think it looks more or less as I wanted, and I hope you enjoyed watching the process as much as I enjoyed building and painting it!

                        Regards!!
