I do like the bright work on this, what is it you are using again?
Looks very convincing but not false like the kit chrome.
Often looked at one of these......Dont tempt me.

The exhaust is the Crome from AK, it is much like Alclad to use. The polished alloy case is AK Matt Aluminium but the dull crankcase and gearbox case is Alclad Dull Aluminium. The AK is too shiny for rough cast alloy.

That's it for today and it finally is starting to look like a proper motorbike, albeit a very rickety one at the moment. Certainly no Tamiya kit as I have said before but it has a certain charm

That looks pretty darn good. Can beat good old British iron.

Back to work on the Triumph. Really down to the fiddly bits now. Got the controls on and most of the plumbing. Then it is down to the dreaded vinyl seat, such a prominent part but not sure how to paint it as yet. May not finish today but it has to be completed tomorrow as I want space on the bench for Bizzy......

Needs a lot of work but I know it can build nice as I have seen some great examples weathered up. I am sure you would do it proud Ian.

Just a couple more tease pictures of the build. If all goes well, I will be posting the completed reveal pictures tomorrow. Still a bit to do but I have had enough for one day
