    Airfix Kubelwagen and Sdkfz 222

so after all the trauma im having of doing the ancient Airfix Pe-2 what do i decide to do? an almost ancient Airfix 'Reconnaissance Set'....comprising of a kubelwagen and a Sdkfz 222 in braille scale.....this was new tool back in 1974!

not that many parts to them

and just to show how big they are!

I love to see these old kits getting built. I know a lot of people (not on this forum) poo poo the old kits as being past it, inaccurate and badly detailed but they are the heritage that this fine hobby is based on and deserve respect. Have fun bringing it to life.

Brings back some very happy memories of rainy Sunday afternoons as a kid. I'd be about 10 at the time and I built a few of these. Loved the panthers and tigers. Look forward to your build and I'm sure I must have one of these somewhere.

Looking forward to this one, this is one of the kits i can clearly remember getting and building as a child. I wont say when, but it was a fairly new tool at the time.
