    Steve. Thanks for stopping by and the complement. Taking my time and working gently with this old brittle kit. Someone not me built the bed and did a good job but sadly not accurate going to do my best to fix it

              I worked on the frame some tonight to strengthen the frame rails even more I used a technique my older brother taught me well over 30 years ago called “Ballooning” I used corn starch and super glue. Think I’m going to call it a night I have a early A.M. delivery. Enjoy the pics.Click image for larger version

                  That chassis looks a lot better now than when it was in two halves With a bit of paint I doubt you’ll be able to tell it was ever cut at all.
