This is looking really good Scottie :thumb2:

I had a similar vision for a shed type building at some point in the future and bought a load of Historex spares last time I put an order in. Brooms, pitch forks, barrels, a donkey etc etc

Simon, Glad your liking it so far. I looked at a few sets of "Farm tools" but as these will only be seen in directly thought I would scratch them this time and raid the spares box. I look forward to seeing your take on the shed, I'm sure we will be in for a treat.

Hello all you die hards that are sticking with this. The wood work received a dry brushing of whit oils mixed with a touch off black and burnt umber, then another brushing of the same mix but less black. This is the first time I have tried this and quite happy but there is always room for improvement. When totally dry it will receive a matt coat. I still have to add the nail heads.

Next a mixture of scratched and bits from the spares box were painted up. Not to worried about them as they will be inside the shed to form a bit of clutter.

Apologies for the bad pictures not an art I have mastered.

          Cheers

Not a lot done and I apologise for the bad photo I will try and take a better one later. I have attached the lean to, to the building but prior to that I ran some green pigments into the stonework. The oil drum was positioned in the back corner and some old planks of wood lent up against it. The tools were then hung on the posts.

Looks totally convincing Scottie - you wouldn't know it's a model.

Thanks Peter that's why I keep the pictures blurry.

Looks like even the die hard followers have given up on this :tongue-out3:
I have started on the base but still not 100% sure what I am going to do. I have laid out the main items and fairly happy with it the cart may move further into the corner under a tree I plan to put a there. The wall needs to be fixed and weathered. The base will also receive some texturing to give it some lumps and bumps.

Exactly. Plus I don't want to peak too soon and use up all the superlatives when we still don't know what stunning work is around the corner.

I'm following each post with interest and always looking forward to the next episode :smiling3:
