    I have removed areas ready for the etch and filled the large holes with plastic card. The moulded engine mesh has also been removed since the pic was taken. There is a lot of cleaning up still to do

    Then some work on the crew area. Removing the plastic for the etch is really hard work as the plastic is very hard and brittle plus there is a lot of detail to try and avoid.

    I remade the various transmission selectors from copper wire and evergreen as the kit ones were awful.

              The kit seats were very non dis-script so I made some new ones hopefully they will look ok when painted up.

              The spare wheel had the bolt holes drilled out and the central hub removed. A tyre valve was added. Then a retaining bracket was made from pewter and a wing nut from the spares box.

              Finally for today the rear light fitting was replaced with etch and the cables added from fine wire.

              A bit of cleaning up to do which I have noticed on the pictures.
