    1/87 Scale "Pair of Babies"

I bought this pair of Opel Blitz one and a half ton trucks (Baby Blitz) many years ago. They came preassembled and painted. They were some hideous shade of almost charcoal gray and the light gray tarps had a bluish cast to them. Well after the Citroen Type 23 I thought, why not take a shot at improving these as well.
The enhancements include: windshield wipers, license plates, side mirrors and tail lights. As you can see, The detailing, paint and decals are on. Next up is dull coat, tail light installation and some weathering to make them feel lived in.Click image for larger version

Sorry for a late update, I've been out mowing and cutting/splitting firewood for the last couple of days. Anyway, I have now got a black wash on after sealing the decals with dull coat. The taillights are in and I did some weathering on the tarpaulins. next up is to install the windows and interior details, then final weathering. Rick H.Click image for larger version

Thank you gentle sirs, I shall endeavor not to disappoint. I think I will do only the windshield and rear cab window and leave the sides in the down position. Warm weather and the a/c isn't working! . Rick H.

Will make another long round trip to find the final photos. Only two changes and six stops to go. Lucky I got a round trip ticket :smiling2: :thumb2:
