The base colour has been sprayed using VJ dark yellow. The load deck was prepainted with various browns then sprayed with hair spray prior to the yellow top coat. Next the cammo stripes were added using dark green. This was then all sealed with a gloss top coat ready for the next stage.

As it turned out I needn't of bothered as most of it can't be seen as you will see from the following WIP pictures.

just noticed some fluff I will remove that later.

the exhaust received various coats of red acrylic and and pigments then it was dabbed with a sponge with dark yellow to try and show some surviving paint, not easy to see in the picture.

the underside received some dusting with various pigments. I didn't want it muddy just a bit of accumulated dirt.

the running gear was detailed and the steel rims polished with a lead pencil final some dirt.

Nothing bad there Scottie.....I'd say you have nailed it! And it is my kind of "Dirty"......not too much but just enough to show that it has been out and about. :thumb2: Rick H.
