Have to experiment with them myself - all of this sort of thing is new to me - never tried to make tarpaulins, rags or material on any model before.

The gun has received a pre shade a coat of dark yellow. This was followed by green and red stripes to the shield, cradle and barrel. When this was dry the whole thing sealed with a coat of Klear ready for the next stages.

The sight was also wrapped in a cloth.

Looking great - will have to give the Rizla trick a try - think that I can find a few to work with.

spent the day working on the gun. Following the hair spray and white wash various pin washes were applied then the shovel and rods were detailed. the canvas covers were painted. I tried to get the dirt to reflect where it would deposit when thrown up by the wheels.
