Little bit of progress with the engine. Scratched distributor fitted, plug leads are just dry fitted in the top of the engine so I can pull them in and out till I get them hanging right like cables and not pipes! Plug caps still need height adjustment as well but you get the idea. Still got to add the coil and fit the cable to it.

Cheers Andy, engine colour supposed to be Russian engine grey,looking around the net it seems to have a light blue to it, I mixed a colour that was good enough for me :thumb2:

This where I've got to with the plug leads, there is actually the coil lead fitted as well but a bit buried now, not perfect by any means but by eye looks OK, zoomed in on a camera a bit different but my first ever scratch and without an opti visor and pound shop glasses I'm pretty happy.

You've cracked it there Mark.
You mention the engine colour, I used a light blue the same as Russian aircraft, thought that looked exactly like it :thumb2:.
Leads look like leads, and how you managed all those into the coil wow, impressed.
Looking fwd to seeing the rest .
