Well the engine is pretty much together now, a few touch ups and some weathering to do and when it's in the chassis I will try to add some fuel lines and live battery cable and possibly heater hoses to the cab.

OK so I wanted to try some engine detail on this so here's my first ever bit of scratch!! Have started to make a distributor, had to put seven holes into the top of a 3mm diameter rod! I would either break drill bits or they would move about on the surface so i held a broken drill bit in pliers and heated it up with a lighter and melted the holes in, seemed to work OK so I now have 7 leads glued in,6 for plugs and 1 for the coil,the wire is 0.3 mm.[ATTACH=CONFIG]n1153573[/ATTACH]

This must be what's referred to as Gonzo modeling !

Got a bit more done, dirtied the engine a bit, cab floor and seats done and painted,bonnet put together which was fun , the two halves are supplied in the bonnet closed position in order to put in open position they have to be heated up and then folded to the right position then the two halves glued together.[ATTACH]428633[/ATTACH][ATTACH]428634[/ATTACH][ATTACH]428635[/ATTACH][ATTACH]428636[/ATTACH]
